I was super excited when I was contacted to photograph this baby bump with two princesses on the way! These two were super sweet and made for an adorable, loving session. We adventured around the Morongo Preserve for some great fall backdrops and a few in the green forest. Their special delivery should be here soon and I can’t wait to meet their twin baby girls!! Baby VV has arrived! – Twentynine Palms Newborn Photography

Baby VV’s family and I have been planning this newborn session since, well for a long time. So you can only imagine my excitement when I got the text telling me she was here. I have watched her parents and photographed them through out this exciting time in their lives.

Mom, grandma and I have all shopped on occasion so we could find some additional cuteness to add to this session; of course baby VV brought the sweetness to the max. These two are so excited and in love with their new baby girl!

The look of pure joy in a mother’s eyes is one of the best things and to capture it for forever in an image is always an honor. There is no denying how much Katy enjoys looking at her new addition.

Dad asked for one image; yes of course the one where baby VV is in his pocket. The one and only time she will fit in his but we all know she will forever have him in hers 🙂

It’s a girl! It’s a boy! It’s a girl! Fun with triplets!! – Twentynine Palms photographer visits Palm Springs

Oh my was I excited when I was contacted to photograph triplets! Then the nerves set in; photographing one baby is a lot of work and always something new what was it going to be like with three of hem. Well I lucked out because these three were some of the easiest babies ever. Each cute and each already with a bit of a different personality!

Big brother wasn’t too excited about having his picture taken that day but we did sneak in a couple shots this black and white is a favorite of mine!

I couldn’t imagine three itty bitties all at once but these parents had this down. It was an awesome experience to watch their schedule and ease in which they cared for and loved these three precious ones. These babies were carried to 35 weeks and all were healthy, with weights all around 5 lbs each. What an exciting time in this families life.

We squished them in this basket and both girls went right to sleep; maybe they were thinking this is what we are used to but big brother wouldn’t close those eyes. He was practicing having a watchful eye with these two!! 🙂

I love photographing babies and their families! When I arrived at the Austin home I was super excited about the space we were using. We had great light and props, Angela should probable become an interior decorator after seeing the nursery! We had fun with fabric, textures, and of course this adorable little one. Once we were done with that it was off to the park for a fun family session!! Hope you enjoy these images of this little bundle as much as I did.

It’s Baby Time!! – Twentynine Palms Birth Photography

This post is a bit late and long but I am super excited to share it. I was asked to photograph a birth by some doula friends of mine. With no birth photography experience I was excited to do it but with new experiences and ones I can’t recreate I was just as nervous. I have chosen to share this experience in black and white because for me these images give more emotion than the color.

This was a home birth in water so as a woman who has given birth to 3 children in a hospital, in a bed I was curious as to how this whole birthing process would work. Well it was an awesome experience that I am thankful I was asked to be a part of. With a doula and two midwives this laboring mom had lots of support. It was a very calming and natural process that of course netted one of the best gifts; a beautiful healthy baby girl!!

You may notice that the three other children were a part of welcoming their new sister into the world so this was a family moment shared in a peaceful manner. All new to me it was an amazing time where what happens naturally actually occurred naturally!!

Baby “N” – Yucca Valley Newborn Photographer

Baby “N” was only 7 days old when I got to meet her. She came into the world at over 10 lbs and was welcomed by her parents and twin brothers! She slept tight and remained snuggly for us throughout our shoot. She is a “Year in the Life” package baby so I am super excited to get to chronicle her 1st year!!

Baby H entered into this world early so he had a few small struggles but was perfection for our session. These images are all precious to each family and are time sakes for each of them. The “D” Family welcomes Baby “L”! – Twentynine Palms Newborn Photograhy

Meet the “D” family who recently welcomed their first child. I was excited that they asked me to photograph this awesome time as I was able to watch them through out the pregnancy as well. This little guy did not want to sleep for us but it is rumored that after I left he slept the rest of the day. Dad loves turtles so we had to use some props for dad’s pictures. We also used one of mom’s papa’s shirts to honor her family, I love when families include pieces of who they are to add to a story that can be told through these images.

Twentynine Palms Newborn Photographer – Baby D

So this sweet little man was so snuggly and sleepy we were able to wiggle him into several positions and lots of props! I know his mom is excited to see all these amazing images; she wanted to make sure that she captured her little man while he was still so small! I think he just might be ready to attend his first formal in this tie. This is the first time I have used this prop and I am totally in ❤ with the result. Again sweetness over flowed for this session as he was really so very good at sleeping and looking cute! I think the below yawn was the only real fuss we got out of him for the day! Bustamante Family Session 2014

This is the Bustamante Family! When mom contacted me about a family session she was excited to capture her growing family as they were and in their backyard where they are busy making memories! This fun little ship that dad built is where they adventure and climb. They recently added one more member to the family to complete their threesome of itty bittys! Dad spends his days as a Marine so it was super important that we captured that piece of who this family is so used new baby Bustamante to display this cover beautifully. Our session was full of smiles, gummies, fun and of course bubbles 🙂 I don’t remember what exactly happened here but I am pretty sure it had something to do with the magic gummies that kept this young guy motivated during our session.
