Will & Brandi are getting hitched!!

About a year ago I photographed Brandi with her beautiful children so I was super excited when she contacted me to say she was engaged and she wanted me to commemorate that exciting news!

We met at the Big Canyon Morongo Preserve for some fun, romantic and at times just out right silly images! As we ventured the path we tried super hard to gross out the teenager with some great kissy shots 🙂 !

These two enjoy sports and a bit of razzing when they are cheering on their teams!

It’s images like this one that show the peace and trust that comes from being with someone you love! I’m so excited to share in this time with these two!

The Preserve never disappoints with great colors and areas to photograph any occasion and this day was no different. Who knew you could find such a great umbrella of trees in out desert?

Love and competition; should always make game day fun and interesting!!

Sophia’s Spring and Birthday Session – Twentynine Palms Photographer visits Whitewater Preserve!

Almost Happy Birthday Sophia! And happy Easter and Spring, so many great things to celebrate in this fun session out the Whitewater Preserve. Now pay close attention to these beautiful shots where she is mostly sitting still because you know if you are the parent of a toddler they rarely do this and this blue eyed beauty is no exeption. And of course we need to commemorate Sophia in action because I will tell you this is the second session we have had together and I am pretty sure she is ALWAYS in action 🙂 ! Last but not least sticks are hugely important so we needed to take a picture with one.If you would like to commemorate your child’s birthday and age let’s talk!!

Twentynine Palms Newborn Photographer – Baby D

So this sweet little man was so snuggly and sleepy we were able to wiggle him into several positions and lots of props! I know his mom is excited to see all these amazing images; she wanted to make sure that she captured her little man while he was still so small! I think he just might be ready to attend his first formal in this tie. This is the first time I have used this prop and I am totally in ❤ with the result. Again sweetness over flowed for this session as he was really so very good at sleeping and looking cute! I think the below yawn was the only real fuss we got out of him for the day! Liam’s ONE! It’s cake time.

This is Liam. He is about to turn one so of course it was fitting that we planned a session and cake smash to celebrate! A while back you can find Liam at about a month old when I first met him for his newborn pictures! These baby blues have amazed me from the beginning! Oh my is there trouble to come from those because mom will not be able to say no and the girls will love them! Capturing moments like this is one of my favorite things. Moments in time, smiles and giggles that are now captured forever! Liam wasn’t so sure about the grass. There’s something funny about little ones with the new feel of grass. He kept lifting his feet up. unsure of what it was. Is it cake time yet mom??

Rob and Andrea, The Family

So when Andrea contacted me about doing their first family photo I was super excited! There new adventure is a bit reminiscent of my family’s journey.

To say the boys in this family were simply here because they were told to arrive was an understatement but before too long they would be right in there with new posing ideas and fun pictures!

Making time to capture the ❤ that has brought this family together is always so important. It is easy when we are raising kids to forget to stop and look at one another for a moment! As you can see these two enjoyed that moment to the fullest, I couldn’t get them to now smile at each other!

It is also a great way to torture our children 🙂

This picture makes me smile! I can’t remember what these guys were doing but I love the fact that they are all laughing so hard and it shows! This woman right here smiled and laughed in every picture. What an amazing way to walk through life it was a pleasure to work with Andrea and her family!

Jake Culver’s Senior Session 2014

I have felt so blessed this past month with all the Wildcat Seniors that I have photographed!

Meet Jake he is a Wildcat Senior who is a scholar and athlete. Jake plays football, basketball, and now track. He is college bound with a stellar GPA and all around a nice guy. We had fun wondering around Twentynine Palms looking for new locations, backgrounds and textures to photograph during this session. He was a good sport most of the time 🙂

I have been lucky enough to not only watch Jake grow up over the last few years but to also consider his family friends so his mom and I thought pictures could go on forever; he on the other hand thought we were done.

Wildcat Senior Zach

Zach is another one of those Wildcat seniors that I have had the personal pleasure of knowing through out the years! I have watched this young man grow and become this wonderful person you see before you here.

We picked a few locations so we could capture some of the things Zach has enjoyed throughout his time in Twentynine Palms and as part of these 4 years. As an avid runner for both track and cross country we had to include his running shoes, that letter mens jacket full of hard earned patches and the track that he was finally able to use in his senior year!

Lady Wildcats, Our fun Photo Shoot

Meet this year’s Lady Wildcats, these three young ladies are the team captains. Although the season is over I am very excited to share this session, it is always one of my favorites!

Every year these young ladies amaze me with their hearts and willingness to lay it all out on the field in the name of their love for the game of soccer and each other as a team.

So these next few are just a small example of how silly these girls can be and how much they enjoy each other and their time as soccer sisters!! I am going to miss watching my own daughter playing out there with these girls but I look forward to watching them each grow as young women and players!

Segura Family Maternity Session in Indian Cove

Love, friendship, marriage, and family. What an awesome story to tell with images to your anticipated little one. Leticia contacted me about doing a maternity session and she was super excited to capture the joy, the excitement and the love that is contained within their relationship and awaiting their little baby boy bundle.

We adventured around the Indian Cove campground where smiles, laughter, and touching moments were a plenty. I love my job!!

There is always something awesome about being with people when they just enjoy smiling; the infectous smile of this momma to be was so much fun to look at over and over, picture after picture because they were just enjoying being together. That is where forever stories begin and shortly they will share that with one more!

Alexa’s 15!

Alexa turned 15 in August so when her mom asked if we could do a photo shoot I was excited. I of course believe everyone should do photo shoots for their birthdays :0). We spent some time in the Joshua Tree Monument with the massive rock formations and a beautiful young lady ; then we traveled to a local location with tons of color and texture. The glitter idea, that was Alexa’s but I have every intention of using it again because it came out gorgeous.
