This beautiful little 6 year old is Jenica, not only does she capture my heart when she is in front of my camera but often in my personal life. I have been blessed to know her since she was a baby and I am so excited to watch her as she grows into a young lady. One of the bonuses to photographing friends is that you often get some goofy outtakes just like a few of these in this blog. Jenica leave a trail of beaming smile everywhere she goes, her personality and smile are one of a kind. This family hasn’t had their pictures done in a bit so we set out to the Joshua Tree National Monument to celebrate some life changes and just have some fun. Upon arrival I asked the kids if they were excited to get their pictures taken and to my surprise they both eagerly said yes; not sure what mom bribed them with but it sure did get us started on the right foot! We climbed, we ducked and we photographed, this beautiful family is full of personality and I am thankful to have met them and photographed them. Thank you again!

Joanna is another one of those class of 2013 seniors that I have had the pleasure of watching grow up over the last several years! She is a beast at soccer and a beautiful young lady bound for greatness. This session included her personality and that of the fact that her boyfriend Byron also has a love of the game soccer. She will be adventuring off to Nevada for school and I expect to hear great things about her future. She was so excited to share her smile, brace free of course and I am glad to be able to help commemorate her final adventure in high school; graduation!

This senior session season has been amazing both professionally and personally. With my own senior most of sessions have been with the same group of kids that I have watched grow up with my own. This up and coming young man is one of those for me. I have watched Morgan grow up over the years, I have watched him play football and participate in many oher meaningful projects and events. As you can tell this young man has the kind of smile that is welcoming to all and with that he will do great things. I wish him nothing but good fortune with hs future and can’t wait to hear about all that he accomplishes.

Photography has become such an amazing experience for me and then there are times when I get to help memoralize not only a special occasion but also one for someone who means so much to me. Meet my mom and her new husband Kim! When my mom said she was getting married of course I knew I wanted to be the one to photograph this big day. I am so happy for the newlyweds and that my mom found someone to make her smile! My mom simply had an evil ook on her face at that moment she decided to smash that cake into Kim’s beard! But htey were having fun and didn’t make too big of a mess. This is one of my favorite pictures from the day. I caught this during their first dance and to me it opitimizes the tender moment when two people come together!

Sarah contacted me to do a family session while she was home visiting her family in Twentynine Palms, we didn’t realize that we actually knew eachother until we showed up at the session. This beautiful new family was a pleasure to photograph. Isn’t this little one too cute in her zebra pants?There is so much said when a child smiles with delight while they are playing with their parents. These are the moments that I love to capture!

This is another one of my great Seniors, class of 2013. This beautiful young lady is also one of my son’s good friends. Even with all the beauty captured during this session Al would have rathered not be the center of attention. Al is an all around beautiful young lady with so much athletic talent that she is good at whatever she puts her mind too. It was a pleasure to photograph her and watch her grow into a wonderful young lady. She will do big things in life!

I have been so lucky to watch this family through out this last year! Our journey toghether began while Baby S was still in momma’s belly. They have allowed me to chronicle the first year through many changes for them as a family. I am honestly a little sad that it is over. Baby S was so much fun on the beach. He explored the sand and water, he never stopped moving. You may notice for most of my one year old sessions we always have lots of action shots! Since the Gehris family recieved orders to Camp Pendleton I knew I wanted this shot and I am so glad it turned out even better than I could have hoped.

So many gorgeous images from our session in the park. This little cutie literally had me running in cirlcles; everytime I thought my camera was pointed in the right direction we switched our forward motion! So baby G brought the cuteness and some adventure, he did not smash his cake on his actual birthday but at our session he must new what to expect because he dug right in. During clean up the park sprinklers came on to assist. Thankfully mom and the little guy were good sports. These smiles were amazing and brought out the sight of his big brother! He was in awe of his sibling! Big sister turned on some music and the dancing began. Baby G was very excited!

Two years ago I did Ellie’s younger sister’s senior pictures when she graduated from high school so when her parents asked if I would do this set for Ellie I was super excited. Ellie will be graduating from California State University Long Beach next month so how much fun for this desert photographer to get to head to the beach! Ellie hosted me around; we took pictures at the beach, with her competition sail boats, and on campus. This was most definatly a fun day. Congratulations Ingram family and thank you for choosing me to photograph this commencement of this upcoming event.
