This family here is always smiling, always joyful and always fun to be around. Lucky for me I get to see them more than just when we take their pictures. We met at the Morongo Preserve for this beautiful session. One of my favorite things to capture is the dynamics within the family and we tend to focus on the kids being included in that dynamic; I also want to capture that of the parent, together and in love. So one of my favorite things is that I have several families that I have photographed over the years again and again. I have watched them grow with new children, watched those children get bigger and gotten to know many of their family members; this is one of those sessions. I believe this to be session #6 for us, some small like when Liam was a baby and others BIG like when we had 7 or so of the cousins all together! This session was photographed in the Morongo Preserve with one of Lesley’s friends and her little guy too. So that makes two moms and two almost two year olds. We did a lot of running, some sitting stool rearranging, some licking, some more running and lucky for me there were some great smiles. I know Lesley is super excited to see all the great moments we captured. Thank you for once again choosing Memories by Tasha!

So these two were just too much fun while we wondered around the Morongo Preserve for their fall mini session. While Tanya was super excited about getting photographs with her recently returned from deployment husband he was less than enthusiastic. I think by the time we were done he may have felt a little different but he made sure to be a goofball throughout keeping us all laughing and guessing what he was going to do in the next frame! All in all a very successful session; we got tons of great shots both showing off their love for each other and the fun they have! The Bates family and I had a couple weather hiccups in getting together but we finally found a great evening that we could hang out in the park and take some great images!
This family has their hands full with three personality filled girls who were all very busy during our session. In middle child fashion one made us work for each smile we got but when she did it was something awesome.
Their itty bitty hasn’t had her pictures done in a while so we wanted to make sure we captured a few extra great shots of her. She was too cute in her romper and hair bow!!

I really do just feel blessed that I get to meet new people through my business. After some scheduling difficulties we were finally able to get this session going. It happened to be at a time when some family was visiting so we got to add a few extra dynamics to our day.
We had fun commemorating an engagement, a blended family, a marriage, grandparents, a niece and a family friend; I’m telling you there was a lot of story to tell with this session and think we got it all!
We did a little hiking and adventuring to capture some fun shots with the great view of our Joshua Tree National Park; always an journey well worth the walk! In many of these images you see the great scape that is offered through our local monument.
In each picture a new dynamic is expressed; always with love and laughter. This family was full of smiles and although mom puts up with all of these boys and I am sure a little grumbling about pictures everyone was full of great smiles and we had a fun afternoon.

This family and I have hung out for pictures a few times now and it is always fun! The girls have gone through their moments of total photo diva, shy and this time the little one did not want anything to do with a picture being taken. I can address this here because her mom already did :). Being two is hard and sometimes being two at a photo session is even harder!
We took our time, took some pouty images and had fun anyways. We altered our ideas and eventually got some money shots even with the two year old who didn’t like our shoot; at first! For this family they were excited that we captured who they are and where they are right now! Of course as a photographer I want all those perfect poses with great smiles but this session still told their story; life with two girls one 5 and a total diva for our pictures the other 2 who had other ideas. Thank you for reminding me what my photography is all about!
We had fun, we made it work and in the end we captured this moment in time. Now I did crop the above picture for a nice image of mom and dad but I ask you to look low at where the two year old is; if that doesn’t make you smile and reminisce about your toddler well then I don’t know what to tell you 🙂

Oh my was I excited when I was contacted to photograph triplets! Then the nerves set in; photographing one baby is a lot of work and always something new what was it going to be like with three of hem. Well I lucked out because these three were some of the easiest babies ever. Each cute and each already with a bit of a different personality!
Big brother wasn’t too excited about having his picture taken that day but we did sneak in a couple shots this black and white is a favorite of mine!
I couldn’t imagine three itty bitties all at once but these parents had this down. It was an awesome experience to watch their schedule and ease in which they cared for and loved these three precious ones. These babies were carried to 35 weeks and all were healthy, with weights all around 5 lbs each. What an exciting time in this families life.
We squished them in this basket and both girls went right to sleep; maybe they were thinking this is what we are used to but big brother wouldn’t close those eyes. He was practicing having a watchful eye with these two!! 🙂
