Baby “N” was only 7 days old when I got to meet her. She came into the world at over 10 lbs and was welcomed by her parents and twin brothers! She slept tight and remained snuggly for us throughout our shoot. She is a “Year in the Life” package baby so I am super excited to get to chronicle her 1st year!!

The smaller details in life, our first born, our itty bittys! I was happy to photograph this little family’s new addition. Baby H entered into this world early so he had a few small struggles but was perfection for our session. These images are all precious to each family and are time sakes for each of them. Meet the “D” family who recently welcomed their first child. I was excited that they asked me to photograph this awesome time as I was able to watch them through out the pregnancy as well. This little guy did not want to sleep for us but it is rumored that after I left he slept the rest of the day. Dad loves turtles so we had to use some props for dad’s pictures. We also used one of mom’s papa’s shirts to honor her family, I love when families include pieces of who they are to add to a story that can be told through these images.

So this sweet little man was so snuggly and sleepy we were able to wiggle him into several positions and lots of props! I know his mom is excited to see all these amazing images; she wanted to make sure that she captured her little man while he was still so small!
I think he just might be ready to attend his first formal in this tie. This is the first time I have used this prop and I am totally in ❤ with the result.
Again sweetness over flowed for this session as he was really so very good at sleeping and looking cute! I think the below yawn was the only real fuss we got out of him for the day!

This is the Bustamante Family! When mom contacted me about a family session she was excited to capture her growing family as they were and in their backyard where they are busy making memories! This fun little ship that dad built is where they adventure and climb.
They recently added one more member to the family to complete their threesome of itty bittys!
Dad spends his days as a Marine so it was super important that we captured that piece of who this family is so used new baby Bustamante to display this cover beautifully.
Our session was full of smiles, gummies, fun and of course bubbles 🙂
I don’t remember what exactly happened here but I am pretty sure it had something to do with the magic gummies that kept this young guy motivated during our session.

We adventured around the Indian Cove campground where smiles, laughter, and touching moments were a plenty. I love my job!!
There is always something awesome about being with people when they just enjoy smiling; the infectous smile of this momma to be was so much fun to look at over and over, picture after picture because they were just enjoying being together. The Pierce family is having an adventurous year; they are about to move to another country on military orders but were blessed with their second baby girl before the big move so, I was lucky enough to get the chance to photograph them for a second time before they leave. Daughter #1 and I had a great time at the maternity shoot so nothing was different this time. She is full of energy and smiles; so much fun to chase after and photograph. Little Miss #2 so sweet and adorable was only a week old when we had our photo shoot. And must we not forget to include the very first baby in this family; their fur baby who is great with the girls and was so good about us posing her in the pictures too. While this family is new to Twentynine Palms as their zip code they have been vacationing in the monument for some time so they were excited to shoot a photo session in Indian Cove. These fun kids were ready to climb every rock and jump from spot to spot! Even mom, baby bump and all was fearless in ensuring we used the scenery to it’s fullest extent. I am so glad they picked me to start off their new journey and to celebrate the soon to be addition to their growing family. Welcome to the desert Etherington Family!
I had the pleasure of photographing the Murray’s for their engagement session a few years ago and now they are welcoming another member of their family, baby Liam! As usual baby’s are awake when we want them asleep and asleep when we are trying to keep them awake but without some work these images wouldn’t hold all the personality of this little guy. The blue eyes on this little man match his older sister’s and are bound to add to his handsomeness, watch out girls he is going to be a charmer :)!
What a fun and energetic session. This two year old kept us moving every second of our time together; up, down, forward, backward, and rolling on the ground. Everyone in this family has these amazing blue eyes and I am so excited that we were able to capture them in these images. This was a maternity session that included a two year old session, lots of bubbles blown and I think we captured everything mom and dad were looking for. The Pierce family will be welcoming an addition soon and I can’t wait to meet her!
PS There is nothing better than the hugs of a two year old who had fun while you were chasing her through the grass with the camera.
