These two drove all the way from fort Irwin to hang out with me in Twentynine Palms for their maternity session. They are both super cute and playful so there are lots of images with big smiles and laughter. They welcomed their baby girl into the world yesterday and I can’t wait to meet her!
This family wanted to capture where their little man was today. At an age where sitting still really is never an option we had to adapt and move to capture him with the camera. Okay so we may have tried to trap him as well 🙂 the slide seemed to be the trick that worked. We captured a few quick family shots as well to recognize this part of their lives as they transition into the next.
Maddi has a little of it all. She is smart, beautiful and athletic. We captured a little bit of all of her vast experiences in high school through this senior session. As she prepares to walk into the next phase of her life she wanted to ensure that we captured some personality with her hometown. I’m excited to see where this life takes you Maddi!
So this big guy, Frank the Tank, and I have been hanging out for a while now. I have had the pleasure of photographing his family for years and him since his newborn session! If you look closely you will see he carries the nickname Frank the Tank but he is just a big love except when we feed him cake or try to take his picture. Now in all fairness to him I think his dad conspires against us to get this guy to smile on picture day but that’s ok we always make it work and we always get the picture 🙂 I’m so glad I have been able to watch him grow and look forward to being there when it’s time for his Senior Pictures ❤
So these two were adventurous for their engagement session with me; we met before the sun came up and began our small hike into this beautiful arch! In tow we had some outfit changes, a picnic basket with champagne and chocolate what more could we ask for? These two were fun, loving and produced some amazing images! There is always a special place in my heart for homecomings. I will say it every time there is so much energy and emotion in the air; it’s exciting, it’s nerve wracking, and it’s all about being back together again. These girls were no different. The 3 year old full of energy while she ran and played waiting with her mom full of excitement and nerves. This Marine was able to sneak up behind us in the sea of camouflage and surprise his girls!
Okay so can you see oh my cuteness for this family and these smiles? Our cheeks hurt by the time we were done because how do you not smile back at these two. Moriah contacted me wanting to get a session done for her family and we were able to get together in the Morongo Preserve a few Saturdays ago. Walking the trails, taking in the setting and a beautiful, fun loving family always makes for a great day. We took the time, with the girls help of course, to get some nice shots of mom and dad too. In love with their family, each other and their girls; it shows!! Thank you Thompson family for letting hang out with you for the afternoon!
These two were so smiley and giggly through out their entire session you couldn’t help but feel their joy! Both mesmerized by their little boy it was a absolute joy to capture this time in their lives. The little man was an awesome subject too, cute, smiley and enjoying the outdoors he gave us lots of great shots.
I have been so lucky to photograph family through several life events recently. I was there for the wedding, the baby bump, the newborn and a few first Easter shots; one of the greatest things for me as a photographer is watching and getting to know families through my lens. I am excited to share this newborn session and about 3 week old session for William’s first Easter!
I love that I get to meet new people all the time in my business and this day was no different. We met at the Preserve for a relaxed family session. This little lady was so sweet and seemed to enjoy our little walk through the beautiful paths. Her best smiles came from playing with mom and dad! She was looking too cool in her cute sunglasses and beautiful dress.
