I love that I get to meet new people all the time in my business and this day was no different. We met at the Preserve for a relaxed family session. This little lady was so sweet and seemed to enjoy our little walk through the beautiful paths. Her best smiles came from playing with mom and dad! She was looking too cool in her cute sunglasses and beautiful dress.
This family was so much fun as we explored the Morongo Preserve. They were full of smiles and laughter for the entire session; it was infectious! With two little ones we did some running, some jumping, some tickles and even some bunny ear wearing. I met Gia during a MOPS meeting where I was asked to discuss photography, camera use and just the art of picture taking all together. I loved her honesty when she asked and how do I just find someone to capture things for me; of course I answered here I am. In all honesty though we discussed looking for someone that fits your needs, that you love the work they do and that you believe will provide a product that you intend to have forever – I hope I met all of those qualifications and more in this session for your family Gia!

I had the fortune of photographing this guy as a newborn and on his 1st birthday! He loved the balloons and roaming the pathways of the Morongo Preserve. Cake smash sessions are always, a little messy and unique. He wasn’t sure what to think but ultimately his mess came from throwing the cake in the air and feeding his mom. Thank you for sharing this moment with me Meza Family!
So sometimes we meet people in a different capacity then we imagined. So the Brownings showed up at our house when we were selling some furniture and thanks to my daughter Kaylyn we connected the baby bump with my photography business. Having two parents as active duty Marines we had fun creating “moto” images for each of them. Dad had painted a pallet into a beautiful art piece with the American Flag so we found lots of great uses for that piece during this session. As well you will notice that we used the Browning logo to pull in their iconic last name. This was a super fun and personal session. So I come to you again with such love for what I get do with people and my camera!! It took us a little while to get our schedules together but once we did we sure did have fun creating a magical session. When we arrived Sarab and Garry were in amazing colors with Sarab in beautiful authentic Indian attire that had her glowing as we wondered through the Morongo Preserve. Each picture, pose and outfit allowed me a peek into these two as people and a couple. We laughed so much my cheeks hurt, took so many pictures I don’t know how they will begin to choose and even started planning more sessions together. Thank you so much for sharing your love and enjoyment of life with me Kaur family; I can’t wait for the next adventure!

These two really are just too cute for words. They are fun, loving and photogenic <3. There is not much more a photographer could ask for. They are also busy with life changing right now so they are keeping me busy. I got to photograph their 2nd wedding before Christmas, be on the lookout for another beautiful blog post soon, and a new arrival soon. It is always awesome when you get the chance to work with clients through multiple life events. Saul is also a photographer in some of his spare time only he uses an old school camera, that winds, and film. We incorporated some mages on that beauty as well so he had to teach me a thing or two (not sure how I did).

Day in and day out I am reminded how much this business has given to me. This is the first session of the New Year and I would like to reflect just a bit 🙂
Six years ago my husband bought me my first non point and shoot camera; I played with it, I googled every bit of terminology and technique I could think of, I played with it a bunch more, I took a class, I took an online class or five and from all of that I have gained so much more than just how to use my camera. Weekly I am blessed to be put into touch with new people who want to be photographed, who want to enjoy the experience, and who want to walk away with a little piece of their story preserved. There has been good, there has been rough but I would not trade a bit of this journey. The people I have met, the life experiences I have been a part of, the families I’ve watched grow and change through my lens has been amazing. I thank each and every one of you!
Now onto this awesome family. They were all visiting over the holidays from Canada where it was a bit chillier then the Palm Springs weather we were blessed with on New Year’s Day! Mom and Dad are lucky enough to winter here every year so they had a perfect location for their family’s session; their condo grounds! I could photograph in that setting time and time again 🙂 it’s gorgeous! Add a beautiful family ready to show me the lay of the land and you get a whole slew of great images. We took the time to capture each of the families dynamics as they all have grown into adults beginning to have children of their own and we captured this whole family who is obviously close to one another.

Always a pleasure to work with a family who is so sweet. The boys in this family were committed because mom wanted family pictures but during the entire session they were endearing and good sports to ensure mom was happy. With one son in college and the other a senior in high school these two haven’t forgotten how to be sweet with one another. Grandma even joined us to get her share of images with her handsome grandsons. So excited I had the pleasure of working with you all!
