8 month old twins, mom and dad, the park what a good morning. These two weren’t too sure that they wanted to participate in our photo session but through some playing and fun they got on board. They couldn’t have been cuter and this session was pretty awesome since this family was just reunited after a long deployment. These little guys were all about mommy and daddy, big smiles, some shoulder time, the swings and we captured a little piece of their story!
As their family’s adventures were taking them across the world to Italy they wanted to capture a piece of their time here in the beautiful desert. Despite the windy conditions they showed dressed in gorgeous colors and ready to have some fun. We did a little climbing, maybe some bribing and most definitely some great picture capturing. Capturing the National Park was important because they enjoyed many times climbing and hiking while stationed here. I’m glad I was able to send a little piece of the desert with them!
These two drove all the way from fort Irwin to hang out with me in Twentynine Palms for their maternity session. They are both super cute and playful so there are lots of images with big smiles and laughter. They welcomed their baby girl into the world yesterday and I can’t wait to meet her!
This family wanted to capture where their little man was today. At an age where sitting still really is never an option we had to adapt and move to capture him with the camera. Okay so we may have tried to trap him as well 🙂 the slide seemed to be the trick that worked. We captured a few quick family shots as well to recognize this part of their lives as they transition into the next.
So these two were adventurous for their engagement session with me; we met before the sun came up and began our small hike into this beautiful arch! In tow we had some outfit changes, a picnic basket with champagne and chocolate what more could we ask for? These two were fun, loving and produced some amazing images! Once again this business has put my path with some just beautiful people and I don’t just mean in front of my camera. These two were so fun and endearing to shoot with for their maternity session in the Morongo Preserve and I can not wait for that baby girl with all the pink lace and pearls, that I am sure she will be wearing in the hospital, to get here. Photogenic and full of ideas we had fun venturing through the paths and chronicling this exciting time in this family’s life. Their love and enjoyment of each other obvious in the way they looked at one another and were playful together. Also noted through our communications and time together their intense love for this little one who is about to bless their world, their families and God. This cute little family wanted to make sure they took a piece of the desert with them when they left so we spent some time taking photos at the Indian Cove Amphitheatre. Their 7 month old sweetheart wasn’t sure he was too excited about our plans but gave several good images with a great setting. I wish them luck in all their future endeavors and I hope these images remind them of their one time home.
Okay so can you see oh my cuteness for this family and these smiles? Our cheeks hurt by the time we were done because how do you not smile back at these two. Moriah contacted me wanting to get a session done for her family and we were able to get together in the Morongo Preserve a few Saturdays ago. Walking the trails, taking in the setting and a beautiful, fun loving family always makes for a great day. We took the time, with the girls help of course, to get some nice shots of mom and dad too. In love with their family, each other and their girls; it shows!! Thank you Thompson family for letting hang out with you for the afternoon!
These two were so smiley and giggly through out their entire session you couldn’t help but feel their joy! Both mesmerized by their little boy it was a absolute joy to capture this time in their lives. The little man was an awesome subject too, cute, smiley and enjoying the outdoors he gave us lots of great shots.
I have been so lucky to photograph family through several life events recently. I was there for the wedding, the baby bump, the newborn and a few first Easter shots; one of the greatest things for me as a photographer is watching and getting to know families through my lens. I am excited to share this newborn session and about 3 week old session for William’s first Easter!
