Meet Zach, he is a Yucca Valley High School Senior! His mom and I spent some time planning and working out schedules for this session, it turned out great. Zach plays baseball, rides dirt bikes, and is learning the guitar. He was a fun and energetic young man to work with. He is ready for graduation and plans to head off to college in the fall. We snuck in a family session while we were out there and came up with some great shots of him with his brothers and mama!

Baby “B” is 6 months old!! – Yucca Valley Photographer

I met this chubby little guy when he was only a few days old so of course I was excited when his mom wanted me to capture his 6 month pictures. As you can see this family has three fun and handsome boys so we will need to wish mom luck on the home front as she is out numbered!!

The “D” Family welcomes Baby “L”! – Twentynine Palms Newborn Photograhy

Meet the “D” family who recently welcomed their first child. I was excited that they asked me to photograph this awesome time as I was able to watch them through out the pregnancy as well. This little guy did not want to sleep for us but it is rumored that after I left he slept the rest of the day. Dad loves turtles so we had to use some props for dad’s pictures. We also used one of mom’s papa’s shirts to honor her family, I love when families include pieces of who they are to add to a story that can be told through these images.

Arielle and Anthony, She said Yes!! – Twentynine Palms Photographer

Arielle contacted me with a quick fused request, she needed engagement pictures and she had a short timeline. Her Marine was deploying in a few days. We worked out some good locations on base and got to photographing. Her Marine is a tank mechanic so we wanted to include the vehicles in our session. As a first for me I was excited to see what we could do and I will say we got a lot more images than I would have thought. This was a fun loving session that I am honored to have done. Corker Family Celebration – Twentynine Palms Event Photography

The honor of promotion is one to celebrate. I was excited when I was asked to photograph the occasion.

The rank of Master Sergeant is a big honor and a lifetime achievement something that I know his family and fellow Marines are proud of.

It was super exciting and important to the family to have their 4 year old son be involved and assist in pinning his dad with the new rank. It was an awesome morning and I am grateful to have been involved! Thank you Corkers.

Of course we needed to capture some updated family pictures. Oh my that little man’s smile gets me every time! The bridge was a classic addition to our session as the favorite book in their household includes a bridge and some goats……..

The Boyd Family Session – Twentynine Palms Photographer visits the Morongo Big Canyon Preserve

We have been talking about this session forever so I was super excited when we were finally able to get our schedules together to make it happen! We took advantage of the great weather and beautiful setting at the Morongo Preserve.

This beautiful young lady has stunning image after stunning image! She is so photogenic; Shawna you are going to have a ton of great images to put on HER wall!

Grandpa was along for baby care but we convinced him to participate in one shot and I know the Boyd family will be so happy that he did this is an awesome image of these two with their first grandchild ❤ !

These images of mother and daughter were the focus of this session. Mom really wanted some great images of the two of them and I think these will fit the request!

The one with the kiss on the cheek was the last image and the one we thought we’d never get but I am so glad we did!

The images with the grandbaby were kind of impromptu but with this time going by so fast I know these will be very cherished memories!

How about these little “A” family beauties? – Twentynine Palms Photographer visits Whitewater Preserve

Meet these two beautiful young ladies! This age at the Whitewater Preserve really allows some very fun, real moments with these kiddos. These two loved the fish, the water, the bugs, the rocks, they were checking it all out.

Big sister though took full advantage of the beautiful scenery and the camera, she went into full model status for a bit and posed beautifully for some great images.

Little sister on the other hand had very different plans because there was a ton of great stuff to check out but she gave me a few minutes of her time to capture her beautiful little self in some images I know her parents will love!

If you look close you will see they both have their handpicked fishing sticks and they are trying hard to work together on catching dinner 🙂 !

The S Boys and a little Adventure!

These boys are just full of cuteness. This is the second time I have gotten to photograph these two and each time their smiles and baby blues amaze me!!

So this was not easy, there were fish in that water behind him so he was working hard at letting me snap some smiles before he went adventuring!

What fun would sitting in the grass and dirt be if we couldn’t use them as our morning snack!! I ❤ that his eyes are big and look like he was totally caught at something in this one!

Does it get any better than this right here, watch out girls those eyes are going to be a force to be reckoned with in….. well we will use mom mat, 28 years 🙂

This image is great in color and black and white!

I have a feeling this is the first of many possible fishing holes these two brothers will look into. Thank you S family for hanging out with me again!

Will & Brandi are getting hitched!!

About a year ago I photographed Brandi with her beautiful children so I was super excited when she contacted me to say she was engaged and she wanted me to commemorate that exciting news!

We met at the Big Canyon Morongo Preserve for some fun, romantic and at times just out right silly images! As we ventured the path we tried super hard to gross out the teenager with some great kissy shots 🙂 !

These two enjoy sports and a bit of razzing when they are cheering on their teams!

It’s images like this one that show the peace and trust that comes from being with someone you love! I’m so excited to share in this time with these two!

The Preserve never disappoints with great colors and areas to photograph any occasion and this day was no different. Who knew you could find such a great umbrella of trees in out desert?
